Informal Front Garden
Address: High Street, Nether Dean, Cambridgeshire.
Client: Mr.and Mrs. David A.
Status: Completed 2011
An existing sloping front garden required some attention the clients requested a colourful summer garden with plants suitable for use in flower displays at the church and at home.
It was requested that the garden should be designed to help with ease of maintenance so a gravel path was required in front of the adjoining hedge. The design was to be in keeping with the house and a small lawn was required along with borders of David Austin Standard Roses, bulbs grasses, Geranium, and other herbaceous perennials. The existing weeping birch tree was to be retained along with the reuse of the slate walling, the driveway was laid to block paving with lighting either side of the drive.
Turn Your Dream Into A Reality
Gardens are never finished they change with the seasons and plants continue to grow and change. A garden design will provide you with the ultimate concept to work towards, however not all gardens can be afforded in one go, so to complete the final garden may take several years, this will be dependent on your budget and time frame.
It is, however, possible to have a garden designed so that it can be built by the contractor in phases. In this way, a section can be completed and enjoyed, whilst the next phase is completed sometime in the near future.
