Project Description:

 

The Stalls Lifestyle centre is located within the beautiful historic Deer Park of the Alscot Estate which lies to the edge of Preston-on-Stour.  fourThe premises known as The Stalls was formally one of the Estate’s many livestock yards. A decision was made in 2005 by Alscot Timber (who already occupied the timber yard next door) to reclaim the building from ruin. During the next years, the building was lovingly restored to its former glory and Stalls Lifestyle was born. The building although completely rebuilt has had many of the original features retained, most noticeably the Oak roof trusses.

 

The Stalls Lifestyle centre has now become a priority destination for many of its loyal customers where they can visit the tea room, and relax then browse in one of the best high-end retail shops in one of the most beautiful locations in South Warwickshire.

 

The brief required a new entrance and driveway, and car parking set amongst some exterior features and retail items placed in a display area, additional space was required for external seating and retail areas overlooking the deer park. Planting was minimal to reduce maintenance but was required to soften the vast areas of hard landscaping.
